Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and patient education
• Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Apply fluoride and sealants to protect teeth
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
• Document patient care accurately in records

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication skills to explain procedures to patients
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and instruments
• Knowledge of dental software and charting systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team
• Excellent time management to keep appointments on schedule
