Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for each patient
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic treatment plans
• Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications

• Certified Orthodontic Dental Assistant in Maryland
• Current CPR certification
• Experience with orthodontic tools and procedures
• Must be ortho certified

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Skill in taking dental impressions and x-rays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
