Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional respiratory care to patients across adult, pediatric, and neonatal service lines
Manage ventilators and high-flow oxygen devices to support optimal patient outcomes
Collaborate with a dynamic team of 120 respiratory professionals in an 854-bed facility
Float to critical care units and floors as needed to deliver seamless patient care
Document accurately using Cerner EMR to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current North Carolina Respiratory License required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
NRP certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
Ability to work varying weekends with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with GE R860 Adult vents and Draeger Infant/Peds vents
Experience with Newport HT70 transport vent and V60 Non-invasive device
Skilled in Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
Comfortable with patient ratios ranging from 10 to 25
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
