Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to cardiovascular surgery patients throughout their surgical journey
Collaborate with surgeons and care teams to ensure seamless procedures and recovery
Monitor patients closely and respond quickly to any changes in condition
Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery expectations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular surgery nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiovascular surgery protocols and procedures
Pre- and post-operative patient care
Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
