Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert ventilator and BiPAP management to patients in critical care and emergency settings
Perform aerosol treatments and assist with advanced procedures including intubation and arterial line insertion
Support bedside bronchoscopy procedures to enhance patient outcomes
Collaborate daily with interdisciplinary teams during unit rounding to provide comprehensive care
Rotate through all inpatient units and two 10-bed ICUs, expanding your clinical expertise
Utilize cutting-edge equipment such as Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators and Vapotherm to deliver top-quality care

Qualifications

Active Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience in critical care or emergency settings
Strong skills in ventilator management, BiPAP management, and advanced respiratory procedures

Knowledge & Skills

Critical Care and Emergency Care expertise
Ventilator and BiPAP management
Aerosol treatments and advanced airway procedures
Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
AIDET patient experience standards
