Respiratory Therapist - RRT
Location: Houston, TX
Start Date: 01-06-2026
End Date: 04-07-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert respiratory care to patients across critical care and emergency settings
- Manage ventilator operations and perform essential procedures like bronchoscopies and blood draws
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of 3-8 respiratory therapists to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
- Adapt quickly to variable patient ratios and prioritize care under pressure
- Utilize advanced equipment including ventilators, BiPAPs, oxygen delivery systems, and Vapotherm
Qualifications
- Active RRT or CRT credential required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy
- Critical care experience strongly preferred
- ER experience is a plus
- Ability to work rotating weekends and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Meditech EMR system
- Strong ventilator management and airway support skills
- Excellent prioritization and stress management abilities
- Comfortable performing blood draws and bronchoscopy assistance
- Team-oriented with a patient-first mindset
