Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC, rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert critical care nursing to MICU patients requiring ventilators, dialysis, and advanced monitoring
- Manage complex ICU procedures including central line placements, cardioversions, and intubations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care based on acuity and skills
- Document patient progress accurately using Meditech electronic health records
- Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition while maintaining the highest safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN Texas license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of MICU or MSICU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- CCRN certification preferred
- Meditech documentation experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
- Skilled in performing bedside procedures such as thoracentesis and dialysis catheter placements
- Strong critical thinking and rapid response abilities in high-acuity settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork within a collaborative ICU environment
