Shift Type: Rotating shifts including every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical, surgical, and telemetry patients
Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in health status
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent outcomes
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery processes
Document care accurately and maintain compliance with all safety protocols

Qualifications

Active Iowa RN license or compact license
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work every other weekend and holiday rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Medical-surgical nursing best practices
Patient education and advocacy
Electronic health record documentation
Team collaboration and communication
