Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care to trauma, burn, and surgical ICU patients
Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver outstanding outcomes
Perform essential procedures including wound care, codes, EVDs, and MTP
Float to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or PCU units as needed to support patient care
Champion patient safety and advocate for every individual in your care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state
Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience
Strong background in Trauma, Burn, or Surgical ICU settings
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
CCRN and BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care equipment and Burn/Trauma ICU technology
Meditech electronic medical record system
Patient ratios of 2:1 in ICU and 4:1 in PCU
Team-based approach with willingness to ask questions and lend a hand
Royal blue scrubs dress code
