Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed Intensive Care Unit
Monitor patients using advanced telemetry and life-support equipment including vents, Impella, IABP, and CRRT
Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized treatment plans
Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition and implement evidence-based interventions
Support families with clear communication and emotional support during challenging times
Float to Progressive Care as needed while maintaining excellent clinical standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in New Hampshire or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or PCU experience
Telemetry experience is mandatory
Comfortable managing vents, critical drips, and advanced cardiac devices

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills in high-acuity settings
Proficiency with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and CRRT
Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and unit demands
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with Sunrise EMR is a plus
