Location: Englewood, Colorado

Start Date: 10-11-2025

End Date: 01-10-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with on-call Monday-Thursday 5:00 PM - 6:00 AM one or two times per week and weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care in a dynamic operating room setting
Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams during orthopedic and spine procedures
Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures ensuring safety and comfort
Prepare operating rooms with specialized equipment including Stryker, DaVinci, Mako, and Globus systems
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR system
Support patients through their surgical journey with compassion and expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience
Orthopedic and spine surgery experience required
Strong teamwork and collaborative skills

Knowledge & Skills

Operating room nursing procedures and protocols
Orthopedic and spine surgical techniques
Equipment operation including robotic systems
Patient safety and infection control standards
Electronic medical record documentation
