Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic health record
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or step-down experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia recognition
- Comfortable managing titratable drips and oxygen therapy
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation practices
