Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert post-operative care to cardiac surgery patients including ECMO, Centrimag, and HM3 LVAD support
Monitor patients with PA catheters and perform advanced hemodynamic assessments
Collaborate with a 24/7 intensivist and skilled surgical team on a 16-bed CVICU unit
Respond swiftly to emergencies and assist with procedures such as central line and swan insertions
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while floating as needed to support other ICU teams

Qualifications

Active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of strong critical care experience with CVICU background preferred
Proficiency with PA catheters and hemodynamic monitoring required
Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT devices

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced cardiac device management including ECMO and LVADs
Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills
Familiarity with Phillips telemetry, Alaris pumps, and Meditech documentation
Ability to maintain composure and deliver excellent care in high-acuity settings
