Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert labor and delivery care including laboring, recovering mothers, and transitioning newborns
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond confidently to OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
Administer and manage inductions using Pitocin and Cervidil
Assist with C-sections, vacuum or forceps deliveries, and intrauterine monitoring
Perform daily and safety rounding to ensure exceptional patient experience
Float within the facility as needed and support cross-training between LDRP and NICU units

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Current BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required
Comfortable managing active labors, inductions, C-sections, and couplet care
Experience with shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and other OB emergencies preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
Proficient with Meditech and CPN documentation systems
Experience using CPN central monitoring, IV pumps, infant warmers, and PCA pumps
Ability to work independently with no tech or unit secretary support
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced LDRP setting
