Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert speech therapy services across acute care and inpatient rehab units
- Conduct bedside swallow evaluations to ensure patient safety and recovery
- Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team in a level 1 trauma center
- Support patients through comprehensive stroke care and rehabilitation journeys
- Document care accurately using Meditech electronic health records
Qualifications
- Active Missouri state SLP license required
- Minimum 1 year of speech therapy experience
- Experience with bedside swallow evaluations preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Speech Therapy expertise in both acute and rehab settings
- Bedside swallow evaluation skills
- Familiarity with TIMS equipment and Meditech documentation
- Ability to float between acute care and inpatient rehab units
