Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert speech therapy services across acute care and inpatient rehab units
Conduct bedside swallow evaluations to ensure patient safety and recovery
Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team in a level 1 trauma center
Support patients through comprehensive stroke care and rehabilitation journeys
Document care accurately using Meditech electronic health records

Qualifications

Active Missouri state SLP license required
Minimum 1 year of speech therapy experience
Experience with bedside swallow evaluations preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Speech Therapy expertise in both acute and rehab settings
Bedside swallow evaluation skills
Familiarity with TIMS equipment and Meditech documentation
Ability to float between acute care and inpatient rehab units
