Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures and treatments
• Prepare patients for orthodontic appointments
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Take and process dental x-rays
• Provide patient education on oral care and orthodontic appliance care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified
• Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Proficient in dental software and record-keeping
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and infection control practices
