Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to promote oral health
• Educate patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques
• Take and process dental x-rays as needed
• Assist dentist during procedures with efficient chairside support
• Document patient care and update medical histories accurately

Qualifications

• Current New York State Dental Hygienist license
• CPR certification required
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene techniques and infection control
• Skilled in taking digital x-rays and using dental software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
