Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Take and process digital X-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Assist dentist during procedures as needed
• Ensure strict infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Comfortable with dental software and digital radiography
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Reliable and professional attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of periodontal disease management
• Proficient in scaling and root planing
• Experience with dental charting and treatment planning
• Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality care
