End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in all surgical specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general procedures
Support robotic-assisted surgeries using both Mako and DaVinci systems
Provide expert care during CABGs, craniotomies, total joints, and trauma cases
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure seamless procedures
Precept new staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support patient care needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven robotics experience with Mako and DaVinci systems
Strong background in cardiovascular, neuro, and orthopedic procedures
Ability to take call with 30-minute response time

Knowledge & Skills

Expert circulating skills across multiple surgical specialties
Robotics proficiency with Mako and DaVinci platforms
Cardiovascular experience including CABG procedures
Neuro experience with craniotomies and spine cases
Orthopedic trauma and total joint replacement knowledge
General surgery and DaVinci robotic case experience
Strong communication and precepting abilities
