Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to new units and patient populations
Manage a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio based on acuity while delivering safe, high-quality care
Titrate Heparin drips and monitor patients with complex medical needs
Collaborate with designated Charge Nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to various acuity levels including ICU holds, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across adult-geriatric populations
Experience with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
Comfortable working with diverse patient diagnoses including post-surgical, psych/detox, and long-term placement patients
Flexible and reliable with scheduling needs and last-minute float assignments
