Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts, exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility (12.5-hour shift length, rotating)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg unit
Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Monitor patient progress and document changes clearly in the medical record
Educate patients and families to support recovery and successful discharge
Respond to changes in patient condition with sound clinical judgment and timely escalation

Qualifications

Current and active RN license or eligibility to obtain RN licensure in New Hampshire
Clinical experience or training in Med/Surg nursing
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred or available
Comfort working 12.5-hour shifts and participating in rotating schedules
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid Med/Surg assessment and clinical skills
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
Basic cardiac rhythm recognition and emergency response readiness
Prioritization, time management, and patient education skills
