Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics, ensuring patient safety and image accuracy
• Prepare, administer, and document contrast media while monitoring patients for reactions
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture confidently and compassionately
• Operate Siemens and Toshiba CT scanners and manage images via PACS and Epic charting
• Support acute workflows including code stroke activation and rapid imaging protocols
• Assist with special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainages, CT arthrography, and vascular/ coronary CTA studies
• Float between outpatient and inpatient units as needed, adapting to diverse patient populations and settings
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and communicate clearly with radiologists and multidisciplinary staff

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Venipuncture certification required
• Fluoro permit preferred
• Minimum: 1 year CT experience (note: first-timers accepted)
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Comfortable working evenings and rotating weekends
• Able to float between outpatient and hospital locations

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging and contrast administration
• Peripheral IV insertion and venipuncture
• PACS image management and Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR)
• Experience with Siemens and Toshiba CT systems
• Familiarity with Coronary CTA, Vascular CTA, CT arthrography and brain perfusion protocols
• Support for interventional CT procedures (aspirations, biopsies, drainages)
• Rapid response imaging for code stroke and trauma cases
• Charting in Epic and adherence to facility documentation standards
