Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams for trauma, stroke, emergency department and inpatient patients with attention to speed and accuracy
• Operate and maintain GE 64 Rev EVO and GE 128 Rev EVO CT scanners safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with ED physicians, radiologists and the care team to prioritize emergent studies and communicate critical findings
• Accurately document exams and patient data in Meditech and ensure imaging records are complete
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and best practices to protect patients and staff
• Provide compassionate patient care during imaging procedures, including preparation, positioning and post-procedure instructions
• Participate in weekend, holiday and on-call rotations as required by the unit

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current CPR certification required
• SCRQSA certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT/radiology experience (experience with trauma, stroke and ED exams preferred)
• Proven experience with GE CT platforms (GE 64 Rev EVO and GE 128 Rev EVO preferred)
• Familiarity with Meditech or comparable documentation/PACS systems
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and participate in on-call rotation

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent training

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong CT imaging skills including trauma and stroke protocols
• Knowledge of multimodality radiology workflows
• Proficiency with GE CT systems and CT-specific QA
• Comfortable using Meditech for documentation and ordering
• Excellent triage and communication skills in fast-paced emergency settings
• Adherence to radiation safety and patient positioning best practices
