Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging across inpatient and outpatient settings, including comprehensive stroke protocols
• Prepare for and administer contrast media safely while adhering to radiation safety procedures
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture when needed to support timely patient care
• Provide skilled support for interventional procedures such as biopsies, drains, ablations and CTA coronary studies
• Operate Philips CT scanners and PACS, and perform post-processing tasks (3D rendering, MPR, ROI measurements)
• Thoroughly document procedures and patient care in Epic to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Collaborate with IV teams, radiology, rapid response and transport to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification REQUIRED and must be in hand prior to submittal (hard stop)
• ARRT (R) registration and BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year CT experience (travel experience required)
• Proven experience with CT contrast administration and radiation safety
• Comfortable with Epic charting and PACS workflows
• First-timers are not accepted; pending licenses are not accepted
• Local candidates accepted

Education

• ARRT CT certification required; specific academic degree not specified in the posting

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging protocols including CTA coronary, brain perfusion and general stroke imaging
• Contrast media preparation and administration
• Radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience supporting interventional procedures (biopsies, drains, ablations, TAVR/MAKO protocols)
• Proficiency with Philips CT systems (Big Bore 16, Brilliance 64) and PACS
• Image post-processing skills: 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), ROI measurement
• Familiarity with PET CT, CT arthrography, virtual colonography and vascular CTA
