Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images for patient care
• Perform patient positioning and preparation with compassion and attention to safety
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure imaging meets clinical needs
• Respond professionally to night-call situations when summoned for emergent imaging
• Complete required competency checklists and exams to maintain clinical readiness
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

• Required: Competence in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Required certification: DCI/BVP
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist
• Ability to work nights and participate in every-third-weekend rotation
• Willingness to participate in required health screenings and immunizations (drug screen, TB test/PPD, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, fit test)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong working knowledge of CT imaging principles and protocols
• Patient positioning and preparation for diagnostic CT exams
• Familiarity with safety practices related to radiation exposure and infection control
• Good communication skills for coordinating with radiologists, nurses, and patients
• Comfort with competency testing and maintaining required clinical documentation
