Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
Perform vital signs monitoring and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, following facility protocols
Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and care staff to promote resident well-being
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care
Successful background check and immunization verification as required by facility
Strong communication skills and a positive team attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
Basic charting and documentation skills
Teamwork, time management, and a strong work ethic
