Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with interdisciplinary staff
Support safe transfers and fall prevention practices while using proper body mechanics
Create a warm, welcoming environment that supports patient comfort and emotional well-being

Qualifications

Current, active CNA certification required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Previous direct patient care experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply
Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and ADL assistance
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
Comfortable with charting and basic documentation
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under direction
Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
