Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting while preserving dignity
Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety procedures
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with families and staff

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Current TB test and required immunizations per facility policy
Successful background check and ability to meet state licensing requirements
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred but new CNAs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and safety protocols
Skill in safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
Ability to observe and report clinical changes accurately
Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Good time management and documentation skills
