Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care in an acute care setting
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow care plans
Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in good standing
Experience or comfort working in acute care environments
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff
Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic patient care and ADLs
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care unit
