Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate cath lab imaging equipment and assist the interventional team during cardiac and vascular procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and supplies to high infection-control standards
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the clinical team
• Assist with patient positioning, vascular access setup, and documentation of procedures
• Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshoot basic issues, and escalate when needed
• Support efficient case flow by anticipating needs, restocking supplies, and collaborating with nurses and physicians

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required) — demonstrates your professional imaging credentials
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• DCI/BVP credential or equivalent cath lab-specific certification preferred
• License/Certificate Verification completed and in good standing
• Ability to pass required health screenings and background checks (COVID-19 vaccine, TB, immunizations, drug screening, fit test, color-blind test)
• Previous hands-on Cath Lab experience — comfort with interventional cardiac or vascular procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; comfortable working in fast-paced procedural settings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of Cath Lab training program or relevant allied health program preferred
• ARRT certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy equipment and sterile technique
• Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and instrumentation
• Patient preparation, positioning, and peri-procedural care skills
• Accurate documentation and charting in procedural environments
• Ability to anticipate procedural needs and support efficient case flow
