Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care during the overnight hours
• Respond promptly and effectively to on-call situations and urgent needs
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document care accurately in the EHR
• Coordinate with nursing and ancillary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Triage and escalate clinical issues to the appropriate provider in a timely manner
• Maintain a calm, professional presence during high-pressure or emergent events

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant allied healthcare experience (as listed in the posting)
• Active, unrestricted Florida licensure or certification appropriate to the allied role
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; specialty certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) preferred where applicable
• Comfortable working independently overnight and making sound clinical decisions
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant allied degree or certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient clinical assessment and monitoring skills for overnight patient care
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation and workflows
• Ability to triage, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks under time pressure
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and team members
• Knowledge of infection control, patient safety protocols, and emergency procedures
