Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and provide high-quality speech-language services to skilled nursing residents
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support resident goals
• Document clinical progress and maintain timely, accurate records
• Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Meet facility productivity expectations and contribute to a positive therapy culture
• Adhere to facility policies and dress code to maintain professional standards

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of SLP experience (as listed in the job posting)
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or with geriatric populations preferred
• Active or obtainable SLP credentials/licensure as required by the state (confirm with recruiter)
• Comfort with productivity expectations and on-site presence requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Experience with resident-centered care in a SNF environment
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with productivity tracking
• Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing and rehab team members
• Professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to facility policies
