Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care at the bedside
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the care team promptly
- Document assessments, interventions, and progress in clear, timely notes
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and facility staff to support care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote independence whenever possible
- Support family communication and contribute to a comforting environment
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Massachusetts (required)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Comfortable working in a long-term care / skilled rehab setting
- Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused attitude
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in medication administration and wound care
- Resident assessment and recognition of change in condition
- Clear documentation and charting habits
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
