Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts including day and night rotations and weekends (specific start/end times to be determined on schedule)
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and regulatory standards
- Operate PACS and manage image processing and transmission with accuracy and timeliness
- Serve as a first-line interface with patients and clinical teams, delivering compassionate imaging care
- Participate in performance improvement and quality control activities to support high standards
- Adhere to HFAP/TJC/CMS/State and Federal regulations and maintain compliance documentation
- Support procedural needs such as venipuncture after required certification and assist with fluoroscopic studies when permitted
Qualifications
- Current CRT issued by CDPH (required)
- ARRT-R credential (required)
- Current BCLS/BLS (AHA) certification
- Must obtain CDPH fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire
- Must obtain venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire
- Graduate of a JRCERT or ABHES accredited radiography program
- At least 1 year of radiology technologist experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills and experience with PACS
- Ability to meet health and screening requirements (drug screen, TB testing, immunizations, fit test)
Education
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiography techniques and protocols
- Proficiency with PACS and medical image processing and transmission
- Understanding of regulatory compliance (HFAP, TJC, CMS, State and Federal)
- Competence in infection control, patient positioning, and radiation safety
- Good communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with PI/QC processes and quality imaging practices
- Certifications such as DCI/BVP a plus
