Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting while promoting independence
• Take and record vital signs accurately and escalate concerns to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe resident transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Document care activities clearly and timely in the resident record
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care and improve outcomes
• Create a warm, friendly environment that helps residents feel comfortable and supported

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Ability to work the evening shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) reliably
• Pass a background check and any facility-required screenings
• Comfortable performing physical tasks associated with direct resident care
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Local candidates only (per assignment notes)

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Active CNA certification (state-certified)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection control and safe hand hygiene practices
• Basic charting and electronic documentation familiarity
• Effective communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs during a shift
