Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition accurately
- Assist nursing staff with treatments and timely patient transfers
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families and the care team
- Support care plans by reporting observations and participating in team huddles
- Help residents maintain dignity and independence through person-centered care
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — must be able to work in Maine
- Current CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
- Comfortable working in long shifts and standing for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
- Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Basic charting and documentation skills
