Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations for school-aged students via telepractice
• Deliver direct intervention services remotely, tailoring therapy to each student
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
• Document progress, maintain clear session notes, and complete required school paperwork
• Communicate proactively with caregivers about progress, strategies, and next steps
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered culture

Qualifications

• Active Oregon SLP license (required)
• Experience providing telepractice/teletherapy services
• Experience working in school-based settings, including student evaluations and direct service
• Comfort with school schedules and working Monday to Friday during the school year
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators and families

Knowledge & Skills

• Speech-Language Pathology assessment and intervention for school-aged students
• Telepractice/teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery best practices
• Student evaluation procedures and IEP-related documentation
• Progress monitoring and evidence-based therapy strategies
• Ability to engage students and caregivers remotely with creativity and professionalism
