Shift Type: Varied days (3x12-hour day shifts per week, non-consecutive), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; every-other-weekend required; on-call rotation included (day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures by preparing sterile fields and necessary instruments
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging and procedural equipment within scope to support safe, efficient cases
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure excellent patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures with clear, compassionate communication and proper positioning
- Document procedures, patient status, and interventions accurately in Epic
- Respond promptly to on-call requests and provide dependable coverage for weekends and scheduled shifts
- Float between like units as needed to meet patient care demands while maintaining high standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience (MUST have IR experience)
- Active state technologist licensure (pending licenses are not accepted)
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts, every-other-weekend coverage, and participating in an on-call rotation
- Able and willing to float within scope to other like units to meet facility needs
- Familiarity with Epic charting is a plus
- First-time travel clinicians are welcome — travel experience is not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and sterile technique
- Proficiency with Epic documentation and electronic charting workflows
- Ability to operate procedural imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
- Calm, decisive response during urgent or trauma cases in a Level III trauma/teaching hospital
- Flexible team-player attitude for floating and varied schedules
