Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and routine observations
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention measures
• Support personal care needs including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Document care accurately in resident charts and communicate changes to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control best practices
• Build rapport with residents and families to promote dignity and comfort

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification (CNA) — required
• Valid state authorization to practice (ability to work in Pennsylvania preferred)
• Basic Life Support CPR certification preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Background check, TB screening, and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong hands-on patient care skills and safe transfer techniques
• Familiarity with ADLs, bathing, feeding, and toileting assistance
• Clear, professional communication and teamwork
• Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to follow care plans
• Attention to detail, time management, and situational awareness
