Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care within the LPN scope — your hands-on care makes patients feel safe
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly to ensure continuity of care
• Perform routine assessments and report changes to the interdisciplinary care team so issues are caught early
• Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and support discharge planning for smooth patient transitions

Qualifications

• Active LPN license valid in Pennsylvania (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment with a patient-centered focus
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset — you’ll be part of a team
• Experience in long-term care, med-surg, or similar settings is a plus but enthusiastic new travelers are welcome

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and basic patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Comfort with electronic health record (EHR) charting
• Infection control, wound care basics, and safe patient handling
• Time management and prioritization during extended shifts
• Professional bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
