Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide in-house OB triage, admissions, and inpatient care for unassigned patients
• Manage deliveries and provide surgical assists for Cesarean sections
• Respond emergently to labor & delivery, antepartum, and postpartum situations
• Cover ER and floor consults for unassigned GYN emergencies
• Collaborate with neonatology, nursing, and other specialties to ensure coordinated patient care
• Participate in private call coverage and help maintain safe, evidence-based protocols

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible OB/GYN (MD or DO)
• Clinical experience in obstetrics and inpatient gynecologic care (hospitalist experience a plus)
• Strong clinical judgment with adherence to evidence-based guidelines
• Comfort and experience assisting in Cesarean deliveries and emergency obstetric situations
• Able to provide ongoing in-house availability and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Eligibility for state medical licensure (KY license preferred or ability to obtain)

• MD or DO (required)
