Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality adult transthoracic (2D/3D) and stress echocardiography studies
• Assist with transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and structural heart procedures including TAVR and Mitral Clip cases
• Operate and optimize Philips EPIQ and IE33 ultrasound equipment for diagnostic imaging
• Document studies and findings accurately in Cerner PowerChart and Intellispace Cardiovascular (ISCV)
• Collaborate with cardiologists, techs, and multidisciplinary teams to support excellent patient care
• Provide compassionate patient education and ensure patient safety during procedures
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and pitch in where needed to keep the lab running smoothly

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• CCI or ARDMS certification (required)
• Experience as an adult echo tech/sonographer with TTE and stress echo proficiency
• Hands-on experience with Philips EPIQ or IE33 preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner PowerChart and Intellispace Cardiovascular (ISCV) preferred
• Flexible, able to adapt to a fast-paced unit and varied scheduling

Education

• Cardiac sonography certification (CCI or ARDMS) required
• High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in diagnostic medical sonography preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in adult echo modalities: 2D/3D transthoracic imaging and stress echocardiography
• Skilled with TEE support and imaging in structural heart procedures (TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman)
• Operational knowledge of Philips EPIQ and IE33 systems
• Able to navigate Cerner PowerChart and ISCV for documentation and reporting
• Strong patient communication, safety practices, and teamwork
