Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled interventions to support functional mobility, activities of daily living (ADLs), and patient safety
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, discharge planning, and home exercise programs
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the broader therapy team to coordinate care
- Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered care environment
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- Acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and documentation abilities
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-focused practice
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational therapy evaluation and treatment planning
- Acute care clinical skills and working in fast-paced environments
- Patient assessment and developing individualized care plans
- Accurate clinical documentation and progress reporting
- Patient and family education, discharge planning, and home program instruction
- Interdisciplinary teamwork and effective communication
