Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care using evidence-based practices and required certifications
• Rapidly assess, triage, and manage patients across all ages in a busy ED environment
• Perform and document procedures and clinical interventions per Trinity Health protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain up-to-date competency through Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Skills Checklists
• Ensure compliance with licensing, immunization, fit testing, and drug screening requirements

Qualifications

• Active RN license with License/Certificate Verification required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC required
• TNCC required
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Meet facility health requirements including immunizations, fit testing, and drug screen

Education

• Active Registered Nurse license required
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency assessment and triage skills for adult and pediatric patients
• Comfort managing trauma and high-acuity cases (Level 1 trauma exposure preferred)
• Proficiency in ACLS and pediatric resuscitation principles (PALS/ENPC)
• Clear clinical documentation and the ability to follow facility-specific competency protocols
• Teamwork, clear communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced ED
