Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, variable days with weekend and call requirements

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound studies that directly impact patient care
Conduct diagnostic procedures including drains and biopsies with precision and compassion
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate imaging results
Maintain equipment and ensure optimal image quality for every patient encounter
Provide exceptional patient care while managing 8-10+ scans per day

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OBGYN) required
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in General and OBGYN ultrasound procedures
Vascular experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with Phillips ultrasound equipment
Proficiency in Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Strong procedural skills including drains and biopsies
Ability to work independently with radiologist support available
Excellent time management for high-volume scanning days
