Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts per week, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with on-call 1 weeknight per week and one weekend per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during complex cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve repairs, and TAVR
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields with precision and care
Handle specialized equipment such as EVH video towers, Impella consoles, and IABP systems
Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Support a 1:1 patient ratio that allows focused, high-quality care

Qualifications

Active CST certification with at least 1 year of CVOR experience
Strong background in cardiovascular operating room procedures
Ability to work 4 ten-hour shifts plus flexible on-call coverage
Comfortable using Meditech EMR and advanced surgical technology

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CVOR instrumentation and sterile technique
Familiarity with CABG, valve procedures, endovascular repairs, and TAVR
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and support colleagues
