Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care in accordance with unit standards
• Perform thorough nursing assessments and document patient status clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following hospital protocols
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and participate in emergency interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement patient-centered plans
• Complete required competency testing and specialty checklists to maintain clinical readiness
• Maintain accurate licensure and certifications and adhere to health screening requirements

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state of practice) — license verification required
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC and NIHSS certifications (listed as required)
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty competency testing as requested
• Current immunizations and health screenings: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, and physical/health statement
• Successful completion of fit test and Trinity 10 panel drug screen
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of acute care nursing principles and patient assessment
• Experience with trauma and stroke protocols (TNCC, NIHSS) and emergency response
• Skilled in medication administration, IV therapy, and basic advanced life support
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient/family education skills
• Ability to complete specialty competency testing and maintain ongoing certifications
