Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned individuals
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status and progress clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Educate patients and families about care, procedures, and follow-up needs
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with clinical standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse credential (RN) — state licensure required for practice
• Experience working with MST (Military Sexual Trauma) populations preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS as applicable
• Proven ability to work independently in per-diem/contract assignments
• Strong communication and documentation skills with attention to detail

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and triage skills
• Experience or comfort working with MST-focused care
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Patient education, counseling, and trauma-informed care approaches
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
