Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care within the MST specialty
Perform thorough assessments and document findings accurately in the patient record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Administer treatments and medications safely and in accordance with protocols
Educate patients and families on care plans, follow-up, and resources
Advocate for patient needs and ensure a respectful, trauma-informed environment

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
Experience or interest in MST specialty care or trauma-informed practice preferred
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a per diem role and adapt to varied assignments

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and triage skills
Trauma-informed care principles relevant to MST specialty
Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Time-management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
