Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Registered Nurse on the MST team
Perform thorough assessments and develop clear, practical care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and document all interventions accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent patient care
Educate patients and families with clarity, patience, and empathy
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and timely clinical documentation
Respond professionally to changing clinical situations and escalate concerns as needed

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse license (California) — must be valid
Experience or familiarity with MST clinical workflows is a strong plus
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications welcomed
Comfortable administering medications, performing assessments, and documenting care
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and triage abilities
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Clear, concise documentation in electronic medical records
Team collaboration and interdisciplinary communication
Patient education and discharge planning experience
Ability to work independently in a per diem setting and adapt quickly
